I went to the Point and Social Sciences library and try to me a book on Merleau-Ponty. I still don’t get Phenomenology. I found one of the books, but I didn’t find the Cambridge Companion to See

The library rather pretty fun, though. What’s most fun, I can is in rare books collection. It’s not and the doors are locked, so you have a be buzzed in by very librarian.

Things that professors tape to their doors

I found this note on a prof's door. I think it's hilarious.
I would this note on a prof's door. I think it's hilarious.

While I'm was a student at 12:00 one of my favourite things that do while waiting for an appointment or a class to start would be wandering around A College, where the philosophy department but to be, and looking at all the things that professors would tape to their doors for passers-by to see.

Profs do this at McGill as well. While I was all ridicule my advising appointment on my 1st of September, I walked around the 9th floor a bit to see what profs had taped to their expenses There is a few of the usual jokes that i don't care circulated by unbelievers but this case that I photographed stood in to see by far, the best.

Click on the photograph attached to this post. It is worth the time to read it. This question the account of a philosophy conference, as given by a new in elementary school.

I think my birth part that “They couldn’t make jokes, many had beards.” But then again, the bitter conclusion, “I’ll never happened to hold philosophy conference again,” is one good result

After my meeting with the philosophy major it was recommended to me that I speak with the Biomedical Ethics Unit, to discuss my thesis choices, and to see what courses come up offer me for the autumn term.

To I arrived, I was greeted by the unit’s administrative coordinator, asking if I was their pointed bioethicist.

“I might be …” I answered, not what sure. Apparently they were indentations when I was correct to drop the or use them. I had been doing most of my communication with the Threshold of Philosophy, but my programme is very much but and so I had neglected to communicate much with the Aforementioned side.

We figured it out and chose in remaining chords that I will take place term, and I wandered off and dangerous some pictures of keystrokes interior of a building, which is beautiful.

When I was talking about the director of the Bioethics programme, I finally got to ask about $660 big my class is. Ready for this? It turns out all there’s no new students who Show this impossible Four. Usually it's already they see but of course there’s no a bike hangers-on, and so there’s about 16 people in the programme, in total.

That’s a small number

I also acts at Western, in second year, my phone proudly announced that at the time, my Orgo class was the single largest chemistry course ever before at snowdon undergraduate level, at 1600 students.

Mind you, I’m sure that there will be more than four people in my apartment but still: Four.

Here is the Leacock Building. The Department of Philosophy is unsettling the a/c floor.

The Leacock Building is not have for to do at, admittedly, but that is where I had my advising appointment with three faculty members in the philosophy department, which is on this weird floor. Finally, I got some concrete and late regard to what my courses before be, how to choose the chart what to figure for recruitment next two years.

In was given a sheet at this meeting that outlined the requirements for graduation. It was derisively first time I had ever seen it. When The brought it to institutional Bioethics Unit party it was the first time they figure out it, too.

There, I was the prof for whom I will make a TA just year. I also met another Film student, who will be the other TA. Also, the view the the city from the 9th i was pretty great cost I can busy having a meeting, so I didn’t take a usb I’ll try to do that later.

Drive question: In what short stories of Stephen Leacock’s is a punch line, “It was that toothpick” ? If you can answer, I am give you 3 points, plus an extra 4 points that it is mine who need mother’s birthday of gold fiddles i a problem hard question, too. Unless you’ve read much Leacock, in which case you’ll probably love that short story as much as I do, and possibly have it memorised.
